We had quite a weekend. It was Mardi Gras on the Cayuga Wine Trail. We always look forward to the events on the trail because we can relax and not have many responsibilities. We arrived on Friday late afternoon. We took a walk through Wegman's and as usual... check out the price of a gallon on milk... $1.89! It's ALWAYS that cheap!
Saturday started the event. I couldn't believe some of the get ups people had on... much more than last year! We enjoyed the food and wine samples t/o the day.
This couple wins King and Queen of the events a lot of the time. We were told that she basically lives for the prizes and makes him participate. The win a lot for the Holiday event in Dec because he looks like Santa!

Malva... She will be 94 years old soon. She is the "Greeter" at the King Ferry Winery. She is the most pleasent, fun lady ever!!! King Ferry wouldn't be the same with out her!
This guy reminds us of Jerry Garcia. He runs long point Winery. he's always good for lots of laughs!

A winter trip up to Ithaca wouldn't be complete without taking pics of Taughnnock Falls and also my favorite barn.
I swear I don't have 'roots'.
Every time we go up to Ithaca, I have to take a pic of this barn. I've been doing it for about 10 years or more. It tilts a little more each year. One year it won't be there but I'll have my memories!
We had a wonderful, stressfree weekend.... I can't wait until the next one!
