BEAUTY IN FEBRUARY

On Saturday, PJ, Chris and I went for a nice 'hike' at planting Fields Arboretum. It was beautiful outside, about 45 degrees! PJ enjoyed showing Chris the Synoptic Garden where every genus classification was in alphabetical order throughout that garden. PJ and I both had to visit that garden on numerous occasions during our Woody Plants course at SUNY Farmingdale. I don't think Chris was too impressed!

The Witchhazels were flowering which is normal for this time of the year but the roses were also leafing out which is NOT normal!

We went inside the greenhouses to see all the poinsettias and tropicals. It was so nice to see FLOWERS this time of the year.
